queen victoria was born in the palace so she gets a statue too...gosh, i obviously had it all wrong, i should have been born in a palace
queen vicky was in love with albert.
he wanted a simple obelisk as his memorial.
she wanted a huge shrine.
she won.
i had to leave something to go back for
the orangery is supposed to be darling
it's on the to-do list as well
the loveliest of tulips grow here
