on the other hand: if you want to see the hugest, most fun, darling collection of shops, antiques and what-have-yous this is your market
with everything from high end to second hand portobello market is definitely the bee's knees, but getting there early is also definitely recommended as the crowds set in pretty quick and very thick after about oh, 9:00 AM

favorite stands = the vintage cameras and old school telephones

oh and the glasses, less vintage, but after haggling them down to 4 pounds i don't feel too bad about that purchase

 also good rule of thumb #2: when in london never go anywhere without your {umbrella} - you never know when you might happen upon such a cute wall to take a picture in front of...or, you know, when it might rain or something
