i'm not sure i'm really allowed to pick favorites, but this is for sure at the top of the charts, just like the last three museums i've been to.
some favs:
Van Gogh's "Sunflowers"
apparently he made four of these themed paintings to put up in his home, that kind of endears me to this painting now
Claude Monet
did you know that for the last thirty years of his life Monet basically pulled ALL his inspiration from his gardens?
i'm impressed.
Turner's "Rain, Steam and Speed"
always been a favorite.
William Hogarth's "Marriage A-la-Mode" series
this makes me laugh every time

Massys' "An Old Woman"
this needs no explanation except to say that it needs a much more prominent position in the museum.
